On June 20, 2020 the LGBTQ Focus Foundation will be holding its 10th annual Women’s Pride in the Pines at Whyte Hall in the Fire Island Pines. It is the Foundation’s signature event, which draws hundreds of attendees from New York City and across the United States and raised over $115,000 last year. Dress code for this year's 10th Anniversary will be silver & white.
The LGBTQ Focus Foundation has announced that the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Callen-Lorde Community Health Center.
Callen-Lorde Community Health Center is the global leader in LGBTQ healthcare. Since the days of Stonewall, they have been transforming lives by providing a welcoming environment for LGBTQ communities to get quality care, free of judgment and regardless of ability to pay. They continuously pioneer research, advocacy, and education to drive positive change – not just for their patients – but for all LGBTQ people around the world, because Callen-Lorde believes healthcare is a human right.
On June 20th, we expect hundreds of LGBTQ folks to gather and raise money for Callen-Lorde's life-saving mission. The main event will take place from 2:30 pm – 6:00pm, including dancing, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a high-end silent auction. An exclusive VIP cocktail party, dinner, and performance will follow until 9:00pm. Award-winning comedian Jessica Kirson will perform at the VIP party. Other entertainers to be announced.
