Award-winning comedian Jessica Kirson will perform at the VIP party

On June 12, 2021 the LGBTQ Focus Foundation will be holding its 10th anniversary Women’s Pride in the Pines at Whyte Hall in the Fire Island Pines. It is the Foundation’s signature event, which draws hundreds of attendees from New York City and across the United States. Dress code for the 10th Anniversary will be silver & white.

The LGBTQ Focus Foundation has announced that the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Ali Forney Center.

Their mission is to protect LGBTQ youths from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.

Since the Ali Forney Center launch with just six beds in a church basement, the organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ homeless youths in the country—assisting over 2,000 youths per year through a 24-hour Drop-In Center which provides over 70,000 meals annually, medical and mental health services through an on-site clinic, and a scattered-site housing program. On behalf of the Ali Forney Center, LGBTQ Focus Foundation, and our Boards of Directors, thank you in advance for your consideration and support of Women’s Pride in the Pines 2021.

NOTE: Important COVID-19 Event Requirements

Consistent with New York State guidelines, this event will require printed or electronic proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test 72 hours before the event OR completion of a Rapid COVID-19 Molecular Test, which will be provided free of charge and administered on-site in the Harbor the day of the event beginning one hour before doors open. Additionally, all guests will be required to wear masks when not seated. At this time, this applies to all guests regardless of their vaccination status. These requirements may change based New York State guidelines. We will update these accordingly.
